Gucci belt tee by LY factory
LY factory claimed they bought four different versions of the Gucci belt tee because the fabric varies in each piece to get accurate sizing. We will look through the forte and flaws of this tee this review.
Flaw 1
The wash tag is different between the LY factory and the authentic. The icons/symbols only appear once on the authentic wash tag, but they appear twice on the LY factory’s wash tag. Furthermore, the LY factory’s wash tag has different words, fonts, and even paragraphing compared to the authentic tag. Either Gucci has updated their wash tag, or the LY factory flunked it.
Flaw 2
The size label is right beside the wash tag, and clearly, there’s a difference between both images. The size letter on the LY factory’s label is not centered, and the font size seems bigger than the authentic label. However, the size letter is centered on the authentic label, small and more prominent than the LY factory’s label. The color of the label is off when comparing the LY factory’s label to the authentic label.
Flaw 3
The neck tag on both the LY factory and authentic is different. Firstly would be the color of the neck tag itself; LY factory’s has a darker tone of beige color and on the authentic tag is a subtle beige color. The “GUCCI” word on the LY factory is slightly flattened compared to the authentic ones. Another thing to point out would be the words “Made in Italy” where the LY factory’ tag is centered but that is not the case for the authentic tag. The words on the authentic tag are lower by a little.
Flaw 4
Before getting to the flaw of the frontal print of the tee, I want to take a quick pause and compliment that the LY factory frontal print is close to 1:1. However, if you were to nitpick about the print of the logo, the shade of red is a tad darker on the authentic compared to the LY factory. Also, I would like to point out that the color fades off on the authentic after a few washes and is perfectly normal to have a lighter tone.
Conclusion
LY factory’s Gucci belt tee is a solid piece, and those flaws I mentioned are minor except for the wash tag. Perhaps different region has different wash tag pattern, as Rep Preview Studio will update this post if we find out more about the wash tag. Absolutely hard to be called out in public, and even the sizing of the tee is almost similar to the authentic ones. Rep Preview Studio will be purchasing it for a more in-depth review of this tee.
