The Wave’s Gucci cap has been an iconic purchase in the community, and we will point out the flaws of this cap in this review.
Flaw 1
At the first glace of both caps, there’s a quality difference between these two pictures. The material used by Wave is shiny and overall has a cheap look when it needs to be as matte as the authentic ones. Another detail to point out is the stitching of both caps. The authentic one can hardly see the stitching, and the overall look is seamless, whereas Wave’s cap has strong visible stitching and doesn’t look seamless.
Flaw 2
The visor’s outline is much thicker on the authentic compared to the Wave’s cap, which is thinner. The stitching is also visible from the side profile on Wave’s cap.
Flaw 3
The Gucci print all over the cap has the most attention, and there’s a slight difference between Wave’s cap and the authentic cap. The double G on Wave’s cap is rounder and bigger than the genuine cap.
Flaw 4
The rear strap stitching on Wave’s cap is not as tight as the authentic ones. The metal circle on Wave’s cap is very similar to the authentic ones.
Flaw 5
The heat stamp on the rear leather strap on Wave’s cap is deeper and more prominent than the authentic ones. However, Wave’s leather strap font is different from the authentic ones based on the “GUCCI” word.
Conclusion
