Fear of God Essentials coach jacket by Gman

G-man’s FEAR OF GOD PACSUN ESSENTIALS Coach Jacket in Black was a popular purchase in the community and reviewed countless times. This review will discuss the flaws and my thoughts about this coach jacket. The Coach jacket was released in 2018 and is considered an old model, but its design is relevant today. Not going to lie, but the design is much to my liking, so let’s get started with its flaws.

Flaw 1

Every rep will get its neck label wrong or utterly different from the retail. However, the Gman’s neck label resembles the retail neck label but with just one or two minor flaws that could be easily fixed.

The “FOG” letters on Gman’s neck label are thicker than the retail neck label, but the “ESSENTIALS” is a tad thinner than the retail. Overall the positioning of the little off-grid too. At a closer look at the word “ESSENTIALS”, the letter “S” spacing is too wide apart from the other letters.

Flaw 2

We are shifting our focus to the size label beside the neck label. The “ESSENTIALS” word on Gman’s size label is closer to the seam than the retail ones. Moreover, the font size and country of origin are thinner on Gman’s neck label but thicker on the retail ones.

Flaw 3

Lastly, look at the “ESSENTIALS” word print at the rear of both coach jackets to compare the flaws. The font and colour are on point; however, Gman’s coach jacket spacing is slightly wider than the authentic ones.

Conclusion

The G-man’s FEAR OF GOD PACSUN ESSENTIALS Coach Jacket is a solid piece despite its abovementioned flaw. The “ESSENTIALS” word print at the rear is acceptable, and not many people will even notice the spacing flaws in public. The material of the coach jacket is thick and could keep you warm in cold places; the coach jacket’s exterior is made of nylon. This coach jacket is a great piece for the collection, even though it was released in 2018. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
