Goyard Saint Sulpice leather cardholder by 35 yuan
I will review one of the budgets Goyard cardholders of all time, the 35 yuan cardholder. As the name suggests, the Goyard Saint Sulpice leather card holder only costs 35 Chinese yuan. Do not get your hopes up, given the price of the cardholder. The link to the seller will be at the end of this review.
Flaw 1
I am unsurprised that the Y’s on the 35 yuan cardholder isn’t touching. On the other hand, the authentic Y’s overlap with one another. Moreover, the 35 yuan card holder is darker than the retail ones, and the dots of the Y’s pattern differ on both cardholders.
Flaw 2
Let’s zoom into the cardholder stitching to spot the flaws. The 35 yuan cardholder has double stitching at the top, and overall stitches aren’t consistent. On the other hand, the original stitches are uniform and don’t have double stitching at the top position.
Flaw 3
The material differs on both cardholders based on the light reflection. The 35 yuan cardholder light reflection seems to be overexposed, but not on the retail ones.
Flaw 4
Lastly, let’s compare the embossing on both cardholders. The 35 yuan embossing is hardly readable, and the font differs from the authentic ones. This is just horrendous.
Conclusion
Given all the mentioned flaws, the 35 yuan cardholder is a major red flag. However, the cardholder is acceptable by most of the rep community given that its pricing is dirt cheap to compensate for its shortcomings. This cardholder is excellent for someone who doesn’t care about the flaws and just wants a simple cardholder. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
