Off White Nike Air Jordan 1 University Blue colorway (High) by OG

OG’s Off White Nike Air Jordan 1 (University Blue) is one of the most popular purchases in the replica community, receiving much praise for its similarity to the retail version. Most of the replica family is hyped about OG’s Jordan, and I’m here to point out the flaws, as we all know that not all replicas are perfect. This one is close to perfection, but there are still flaws to be noted. The seller will be referenced at the end of this review.

Flaw 1

Surprisingly, the Air Jordan logo on both Jordans is alarmingly similar. The only nitpick I could point out is the bottom design. OG’s bottom design appears squashed compared to the authentic one.

Flaw 2

The “85” pull tab differs on both Jordans in terms of material and text. It’s evident that both pull tabs are made of different materials. The text print on OG’s version is decent, but upon closer inspection, there are ink bleeds around the corners, and the font size is slightly larger than the authentic, making the position off.

Flaw 3

The lateral side of the Jordan has a few flaws: the swoosh is too high on OG’s pair, and the orange tab is slightly larger than the authentic. The “AIR” on the midsole differs in terms of font size and positioning.

Flaw 4

The medial text differs on both Jordans. OG’s text doesn’t bleed, while the authentic one does. The character “B” is smaller on OG and larger on the authentic, affecting the positioning of the text, especially noticeable in the word “White.”

Flaw 5

The heel counter has a few minor flaws. Point 1 shows that the patch differs in color, as does point 2. The perforation hole alignment (point 3) is off when comparing OG to the authentic.

Flaw 6

The perforation holes differ on both toe boxes. OG’s perforation holes are smaller than the authentic’s. Although it’s a minor flaw, it’s still worth pointing out.

Conclusion

OG’s Off White Nike Air Jordan is indeed a solid pair. There aren’t any significant flaws, and it’s mostly just nitpicking. However, the concerning flaw would be the swoosh, which could be a dead giveaway if not done correctly. Other than this, I love the university blue colorway, which is also my favorite color. This Jordan is on my purchase list for review, and I will update this blog post once I’ve gotten my hands on it. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
