Patek Philippe Nautilus V4 dark blue by PPF factory

PPF Factory is renowned for their Patek Philippe Nautilus replicas, which have evolved significantly from version 1 to the current version 4. Widely considered one of the best replicas in the rep community, it is important to remember that no replica is perfect. In this review, I will discuss the flaws and share my thoughts. Seller information will be provided at the end.

Movement

As of this writing, the movement currently used in the PPF version 4 of the 5711 Nautilus is the 324 movement. However, it features a regulated balance rather than a free-sprung balance. I have noticed that a free-sprung movement is available for the 324, but it would cost roughly $2,000 more. A free-sprung balance adjusts the rate by changing the inertia of the balance wheel (by adding or removing small weights on the balance wheel rim). This balance minimizes the number of moving parts susceptible to shock or wear, thereby enhancing the stability and long-term accuracy of the timepiece.

Flaw 1

Point 1: The “Patek Philippe Genève” inscription differs between the PPF and the genuine watch; PPF’s font is larger. Additionally, the dial pattern on which the words are printed appears different.
Point 2: The markers on the genuine watch have better metal finishes, and the white fill is an off-white color. In contrast, PPF’s white fill has a distinctly different tone.
Point 3: The date font on PPF’s watch is thicker than on the genuine watch.
Point 4: The white dots are thicker, and their alignment differs between the two watches.
Point 5: The white color fill on the hour and minute hands is thinner in the PPF version, and the shades of white differ.
Point 6: The dial color is a few shades off, and the sunburst effect also differs.
Point 7: The “SWISS” text at 6 o’clock differs between the two watches in terms of font size.

Flaw 2

The engraving differs between the top plates of both watches in terms of font size, depth, color, and position. The finishes on the top plates also differ.

Flaw 3

The gold finishes on the rotor differ, and the logo engraving varies in size, depth, and position.

Flaw 4

The Patek Philippe logo engraving on both clasps differs in terms of size and depth; the genuine is more prominent.

Flaw 5

The Patek Philippe Genève engraving on both inner clasps varies in depth and size.

Conclusion

Despite its flaws, PPF Factory’s Patek Philippe version 4 is indeed a top-quality watch. There are a few improvements you can make yourself with a local watchsmith and materials sourced from trusted dealers. This watch exudes a rich, subtle vibe, and I love its shape. The most concerning flaw is the dial—it’s the first thing people notice. Replacing it with a genuine dial would be ideal. This watch is suitable for both casual and formal wear. As always, peace out and stay vibey. Cheers!
