As the name suggests, Clean Factory specializes in Rolex replicas, and their Rolex Yacht-Master 40 with a Stainless Steel Blue Dial is a standout piece. In this review, I’ll detail the flaws and share my thoughts on this watch, which is one of my all-time favorites. Seller details will be provided at the end of the review.
Movement
Clean Factory uses the VR3135 movement, a close second to the VS3135 movement in terms of quality. Although it ranks as runner-up, the VR3135 is still an excellent clone. The main difference is that the VR3135’s shock resistance is not as robust as that of the VS3135. Like the VS3135, the VR3135 uses two arms to regulate the movement, compared to the genuine’s single arm free-sprung balance. The genuine movement boasts a 48-hour power reserve, whereas the VR3135 typically offers a 24-hour reserve. Both movements operate at 4 Hz.
Flaw 1
The overall dial color of the Yacht-Master is quite accurate, though the Clean’s blue hue is slightly off from the genuine by one or two shades. Nevertheless, it’s nearly a 1:1 copy. Impressive work!
Flaw 2
The edges of the numbers and markers on the bezel differ; the genuine has sharper edges compared to Clean’s.
Flaw 3
The triangle marker on the Clean bezel is slightly smaller than the genuine, and its edges are not as sharply defined.
Flaw 4
The rehaut size and engraving depth differ, with the genuine having thicker and more prominent engravings compared to those from Clean Factory.
Flaw 5
On Clean Factory’s model, the crown appears floating, and the ‘Swiss Made’ text is thinner than on the genuine.
Flaw 6
While the date font on Clean’s model is similar to the genuine, its positioning is slightly off.
Flaw 7
Both crowns are similar enough that the difference would likely go unnoticed without a side-by-side comparison with a genuine model. Clean’s crown is slightly thinner.
Flaw 8
The engraving on the clasps varies in depth and size. Clean Factory’s engraving is shallower, and the font size is larger than on the genuine.
Conclusion
Clean Factory’s Rolex Yacht-Master 40 in Stainless Steel Blue Dial is undoubtedly a top-tier high-end replica. As I’ve mentioned before, all replicas have their imperfections.
