Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low Volt colorway by COCO (GD batch)
COCO has built a reputable standing within the rep community for selling high-quality sneakers and even has its own batch called “GD.” I was drawn to their Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low Volt colorway after our rep fams mentioned its remarkable similarity to the retail pair. Thus, I decided to review this pair, pointing out the flaws and sharing my thoughts. Seller information is provided at the end of this review. LET’S GO FAMS!
Flaw 1
Point 1: The text on the left medial side of COCO’s shoe, particularly the “USA” characters, is smaller than on the retail pair, as shown in the images above.
Point 2: The materials of the shoelace suede differ. While COCO’s stitching is decent, the stitching style differs from the retail.
Point 3: COCO’s stitching count on the swoosh is less than the retail pair. Although this isn’t significant, it can be noticed by those who own a retail pair.
Flaw 2
Point 1: COCO’s text on the right medial side of the sneaker is slightly smaller than the retail, but this is hardly noticeable without a retail pair for comparison.
Point 2: COCO’s swoosh is well-made but not as pointy as the retail, and its positioning is slightly too forward, covering some of the text.
Flaw 3
Point 1: The positioning of the “AIR” text on COCO’s Air Force 1 Low is slightly off compared to the retail, appearing as if the text is floating and is slightly larger.
Point 2: As noted earlier, the stitching count on COCO’s swoosh is less than the retail.
Point 3: The orange tabs on both images look great, but COCO’s orange tab color and position are slightly off. This is a minor flaw and considered a nitpick.
Flaw 4
Point 1: COCO’s text printed on the back heel is thicker than the retail, and the “HO” text differs between the two pairs, as shown in the images.
Point 2: The debossing on COCO’s back heel tab is deeper than the retail, and the font is thinner.
Flaw 5
The Nike logo tab on the tongue is similar to retail, but to nitpick, COCO’s font is slightly thicker, and the stitching on the tab is different. Don’t get me wrong, this is a minor flaw and hardly noticeable without a pair for comparison. COCO’s Nike logo tab is one of the best so far.
Conclusion
COCO’s Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 Low Volt colorway is a solid pair despite all the flaws mentioned. COCO’s attention to detail is impressive, and while there is room for improvement, it’s already good enough for me. I love this colorway as it attracts attention, especially when paired with darker-colored outfits to make the sneakers stand out. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
