Nike x Futura Laboratories SB Dunk Low “Bleached Aqua” colorway by Joy Sneake
Joy Sneaker is a decent seller in the rep community, and most of their sneakers are of decent quality. While not the best of the best, the price is much more reasonable. Therefore, I will be reviewing their Nike x Futura Laboratories SB Dunk Low “Bleached Aqua” sneakers by sharing the flaws and my thoughts. The seller will be referenced at the end of this review. Flaw 1
Point 1: Joy Sneaker’s swoosh is too fat compared to the retail version, affecting the positioning as well. This is a common flaw shared among all other high-quality replicas.
Point 2: The positioning of the Futura Laboratories signature differs on both pairs. Joy Sneaker’s signature is positioned too low and closer to the back heel compared to the retail version, where the signature is higher and closer to the swoosh.
Point 3: The red color vibrancy differs on both eyelets. Joy Sneaker’s eyelet color is dull compared to the retail version.
Point 4: Joy Sneaker’s overall stitching is decent but a bit wonky compared to the retail version.
Flaw 2
Point 1: Similar to the previous swoosh flaw, Joy Sneaker’s swoosh on the medial side is also too fat, affecting the positioning compared to the retail version.
Point 2: Joy Sneaker’s letters “FL” have incorrect positioning and the font size is too large compared to the retail version.
Point 3: Joy Sneaker’s overall color vibrancy is decent, but the pattern slightly differs from the retail version, as shown in the images.
Flaw 3
Joy Sneaker’s toebox is too pointy compared to the retail version. Refer to the images above for the white color suede.
Flaw 4
Point 1: The stitching is more prominent on Joy Sneaker’s back heel but less so on the retail version. Furthermore, the gap between the stitching isn’t consistent on Joy Sneaker.
Point 2: The material on the collar differs on both pairs. It may seem that Joy Sneaker’s material looks similar to the retail version, but if you zoom in, it is a different material, and the feel will also be different. This is a minor flaw as the color is similar on both pairs.
Flaw 5
As shown in the images above, the label is similar on both pairs, which is great, but the stitching is wonky on Joy Sneaker’s tongue label.
Conclusion
Joy Sneaker’s Nike x Futura Laboratories SB Dunk Low “Bleached Aqua” sneakers are great, and I am loving the colorway of this sneaker. The sneaker community mentioned that this might be the best sneaker released in 2024. Do you think so too? Anyway, it is a colorful pair of sneakers that will grab people’s attention in public. You would definitely stand out if you pair it with the right outfit, and I would love to get my hands on this pair for a deeper review.
