Off White Nike Air Jordan 1 Retro University Blue colorway (High) by LJR

LJR factory has been producing top-tier sneakers for a long time, and their Air Jordan 1 Off-White University Blue colorway was deemed the best on the market for a long time. Reviews from the rep fam community were all positive, and I believe that while no replicas are perfect, they can be very close. In this review, I will dive deep into their reps to see if they truly live up to the claim of being the top-tier batch of all time. The seller’s information is referenced below. Let’s get started.

Flaw 1

Point 1: The swoosh looks decent; however, the problem lies with its rotation. Looking at the images here, the left side of the swoosh is too high while the right side is too low.

Point 2: The perforation holes near the top collar are not consistent, with some being bigger than others. This is not a major red flag, but it is good to point out as small issues like this can accumulate into a bigger problem.

Flaw 2

The words on the medial side are fine and solid, but my complaint would be the placement. It is slightly off when compared to the retail version. However, their print quality is much better than other replicas on the market.

Flaw 3

The wing flap “85” positioning is on point. My only concern is the font size, which is slightly larger than the retail version. The material on the flaps is good too.

Flaw 4

Point 1: Comparing the University Blue colorway on both Air Jordans, it seems like LJR’s colorway is a few shades darker than the retail. This might be due to a lighting issue.

Point 2: Based on the images above, LJR’s perforation holes are smaller than the retail version.

Point 3: The stitching is decent on LJR’s version; however, not all their batches have consistent stitching. It requires some luck to get better stitching, but in general, their stitching is a tad wonky compared to the retail version.

Flaw 5

Point 1: LJR’s perforation holes at the toebox are larger than the retail version, which is the opposite of most other replicas, where their perforation holes are smaller than the retail version.

Point 2: The stitching on the outskirts of the toebox is decent but not as tight as the retail version when compared side by side.

Conclusion

LJR’s Jordan 1 Retro High Off-White University Blue is indeed a top-tier replica that closely resembles the retail version. My only major concern is the swoosh rotation. The colorway isn’t a big issue even though it differs by a few shades from the retail version. I love the University Blue colorway; it pairs well with most outfits and could be a daily sneaker. I will save up and get my hands on this pair for a deeper review. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
