Rolex GMT-MASTER-II ref 126710 GRNR (Bruce Wayne) by Q factory

Q factory is decent in producing watches and they are known for Rolex Daytonas. However, as of writing this blog post, they have just released their new Rolex GMT-MASTER-II ref 126710 GRNR 2024, which I am super excited to review. I will dive into the flaws of this watch and share my thoughts on it. “There is no perfect replica, only the one you prefer,” as quoted by Steve from the RWI forum. The seller will be referenced at the end of this video. Can’t wait any longer, let’s get started!

Movement

The VR3235 is a blend of the 3135 and 3235 movements, earning it the label of an “homage clone.” While it’s dependable, its power reserve is shorter, lasting only about 40 hours compared to the VS3235. Although spare parts are hard to come by, you can buy a replacement for around $100 on AliExpress, making it more economical to replace the movement rather than service it.

Measurements

Authentic Case Diameter: 40MM || QF Case Diameter: 40MM
Authentic Thickness: 11.9MM || QF Thickness: 12MM

Flaw 1

I pay a lot of attention to the rehaut, and Q factory’s rehaut really let me down. Based on the images above, the rehaut engraving is barely visible, and the positioning is slightly off-center. Not cool, Q factory!

Flaw 2

Point 1: Referring to the silver bezel on the hour markers and all the hands, there is a difference in reflectiveness between the two watches.
Point 2: Q factory’s “superlative chronometer officially certified” text is a tad wonky compared to the genuine.
Point 3: The “GMT MASTER II” text differs on both watches in terms of color and reflectiveness. The genuine has better reflectiveness and is a few shades richer in color compared to Q factory.
Point 4: The grey color on Q factory is a few shades darker than the retail version. Moreover, it seems like the grey color cuts across Q factory’s number “6” but does not on the genuine.
Point 5: The words “Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date” on Q factory seem a tad thinner than the genuine. Furthermore, the genuine print is more prominent than Q factory.
Point 6: Q factory’s date font is thin and resembles a serif style, while the genuine is a tad bolder and resembles a sans-serif style.

Flaw 3

Q factory’s lug is a tad expanded compared to the genuine, based on the images above. It is a minor issue and nothing to be concerned about.

Flaw 4

Q factory’s “SWISS MADE” text is a tad thinner than the genuine. Furthermore, Q factory’s crown isn’t bigger than the genuine, looking at the oval cutout on the Rolex logo.

Flaw 5

The Rolex logo cutout on Q factory’s clasp isn’t the same as the genuine. It seems like the cutout doesn’t have an outline on the genuine.

Flaw 6

The Rolex logo engraving differs on both inner clasps in terms of the engraving method and thickness. The alignment is similar, but I hope that Q factory pays attention to these minor details and fixes them in their upcoming batch.

Conclusion

Q factory’s Rolex GMT-MASTER-II ref 126710 GRNR is decent, but there’s a lot of room for improvement. As of this writing, the watch was just released not long ago, and the price relative to the quality of the watch isn’t good. You can get a better watch with just a little top-up, unless they reduce the price or fix the flaws mentioned, especially the rehaut. Until then, I will update this blog post if they make further improvements. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
