APSF – Cartier Tank Solo XL

APS Factory recently produced a top-tier Cartier Tank Solo XL W5200028 watch. It is known to triumph over all other replica watches based on community reviews. However, each watch has its own unique flaws, and perhaps a few overlapping ones. So it boils down to which flaw you’re comfortable accepting. I will be reviewing this watch by pointing out its flaws and sharing my personal thoughts. The seller will be referenced at the end of this review.

Movement

APSF uses the Miyota 9015 movement in their Tank Solo XL. It is a decent and thin movement, which is the only movement in the replica market able to fit into the Tank Solo XL. This movement is as thin as the ETA 2892. However, the downside of this movement is the noisy rotors, although it beats at 4Hz, which is the same as the authentic Cartier Calibre 049 (based on ETA 2892-A2). The MY9015 has a power reserve of less than 24 hours, whereas the authentic has a power reserve of 42 hours.

Flaw 1

Looking at the images above, APSF’s Cartier font is thicker than the authentic and is obvious even if the picture isn’t zoomed in.

Flaw 2

Point 1: APSF’s “SWISS MADE” font is similar to the previous flaw, where the font is thicker than the authentic.
Point 2: Similar to the previous flaws, the “Cartier” on APSF is thicker, and the positioning is also off.

Flaw 3

If zoomed in closely enough, the jewel on APSF is flat, whereas the authentic is more protruded. This flaw doesn’t exist in all other top-tier replica watches.

Flaw 4

The engraving on the clasp is decent on APSF. My minor issues would be the font size and the spacing between the characters. If APSF can reduce the font size and the spacing, it would be great!

Conclusion

APSF’s Cartier Tank Solo XL W5200028 is considered on par with all other top-tier replica watches in the market. While this watch isn’t necessarily better than other replica watches, it is still made with great quality and sold at a reasonable price. This would be a classic watch to add to your collection.
