Burberry The Short Wimbledon trench coat by Cloyad
Cloyad has been selling Burberry’s The Short Wimbledon Trench Coat for years now, and it has some common flaws. Before we point out the flaws, note that we cannot find more pictures of Cloyad’s trench coat; therefore, this review is not a complete list of the flaws, and we believe there’s more flaws to be discovered.
Flaw 1
Let’s examine the neck tag on both trench coats to tell the flaws.
Point 1: The font weight and size are not consistent throughout, and this can be noticeable in the word “Burberry.” On the other hand, the authentic neck tag font is uniform and prominent.
Point 2: The embroidery word “Burberry” is serif on both neck tags, but the stroke is longer on Cloyad’s neck tag; the letter “E” in “Burberry.”
Point 3: The “London England” inscription is too thin on Cloyad’s neck tag compared to the authentic ones.
Point 4: The symbols are too thin on Cloyad’s neck tag compared to the authentic ones.
Flaw 2
Moving on to compare both wash tags and able to see the words are not aligned centered on Cloyad’s wash tag. On the other, the words on the wash tag are aligned center. Do note that the coat has two origins, Sandringham and Kensington.
Flaw 3
Next would be the comparison of the labels just below the neck tag. The stitching is poorly done and flimsy on Cloyad’s label, but not for the authentic label. The fonts on Cloyad’s label are thinner than the authentic ones; this could tell by the letter “R” in “SANDRINGHAM”.
Flaw 4
Lastly, look at the buckle on both trench coats, and it is visible that the stitching on the authentic ones is much better than Cloyad’s buckle. Moreover, the authentic buckle is made out of metal, but we are not sure what material Cloyad used for the buckle.
Conclusion
We want to reinforce that the flaws in Cloyad’s Burberry’s The Short Wimbledon Trench Coat are not complete and believe there’s more to it. Despite all the flaws, the trench coat is still great to wear, and it will be hard to authentic in public.
