Gucci Rhyton Square logo sneaker by Bean
Bean sells high-end footwear brands, and I will review their Gucci Rhyton Square logo sneaker by pointing out its flaws and giving my thoughts about it. Gucci Rhyton sneakers are very comfortable due to their large sole, but some criticise them as too big and heavy.
Flaw 1
Let’s compare the square GG logo print on both sneakers to find the difference. Upon a glance, we can see that the vibrancy of the colour on the authentic print is better than Bean’s print and not to mention the light reflection is dull on Bean’s sneaker. Furthermore, the font on Bean’s sneaker is a tad smaller than the authentic ones looking at the letter “G”.
From the side view, Bean’s toebox looks more pointy and sharp than the authentic ones.
Flaw 2
We will focus on the heel tab on both sneakers to find the differences. Bean’s heel counter slightly differs from the authentic ones by just a tad fatter. Moreover, Bean’s curvature engraving of the outsole is shallower than the authentic ones, which applies to the font. Bean’s heel tab is not as curvy as the authentic ones, but these differences are hard to spot if you wear them.
Flaw 3
Moving on the sole of both sneakers to find the differences. The authentic “GUCCI MADE IN ITALY” engraving is more promient than Bean’s. As shown in the images above, the letter “d” engraving on Bean’s sole is inconsistent. The engraving flaw also applies to the stars on Bean’s sole being too shallow.
Flaw 4
Zooming into the toebox area, Bean’s patches on the toebox look slightly wonky compared to the authentic ones. Furthermore, the stitching method isn’t the same as the authentic ones, being too loose. On the other hand, the genuine double stitching is tight.
Conclusion
I think Bean’s sneakers might be the best in the market you can get your hands on despite the abovementioned flaws. The Gucci Rhyton sneakers were considered very comfortable, like walking on a pillow. However, a few felt the sneaker was large and heavy, which is about personal preferences.
