AF – Cartier Tank Solo large

A Factory (AF) is deemed one of the best in producing the Cartier Tank Solo Large WSTA0028, and I am writing a review to point out the flaws and share my thoughts. I have high expectations as most of our replica community prefers this factory over others. The seller will be referenced at the end of this review.

Movement

AF uses a Swiss Ronda Quartz Movement, which is similar to the authentic Quartz Calibre 690 movement, both of which are battery-operated. The Swiss Ronda Quartz Movement is highly precise and requires less maintenance compared to mechanical movements.

Measurement

Dimensions– Gen: 34.8 mm x 27.4 mm || AF: 34.8 mm x 27.4 mm
Waterproof– Gen: 30M || AF: 20M

Flaw 1

Looking at the images here, AF’s Cartier font is noticeably thicker than the authentic, and I am already disappointed because this is such a simple mistake that could have been avoided and is not hard to replicate.

Flaw 2

Point 1: AF’s “SWISS MADE” text is thicker than the authentic, making the positioning off as well.
Point 2: Similar to the previous point, their “Cartier” font is thicker when compared to the authentic.

Flaw 3

The back engraving is similar on both backplates, but my issue is with AF’s font, which does not match the font family of the authentic. You can see the difference by referencing the character “A.” However, I would consider this flaw a nitpick as it is not visible to the naked eye.

Conclusion

AF lives up to the hype and holds its position as one of the top-tier producers of the Cartier Tank Solo Large WSTA0028 watch. The quality of the watch is great, and the pricing is decent too. It will be a great watch to add to your collection. I love the classic design, which can pair with most casual outfits and even formal outfits too. As always, peace out and stay vibey.
