Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO 40mm Pepsi version 6 by GM factory
GM Factory is known for producing decent Rolex replicas, but their Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO 40mm “Pepsi” version 6 is exceptionally good, receiving many positive reviews within the replica community. I’ll do my best to point out the flaws and share my thoughts. The seller will be referenced at the end of this video. Let’s get started!
Movement
This is a new movement (as of March 2023) that has started to appear in C+ Factory GMTs and Explorer IIs. @CTime posted an excellent photo comparison of the SH3285 with the DD3285 and the Gen 3285. This movement is closer to gen spec than the VR3235 movement (discussed above) and is compatible with gen parts in some areas (e.g., the keyless works). However, the balance, pallet fork, and escape wheel are not gen-spec. Therefore, I would classify this movement as an “homage” level clone.
Measurements
Diameter – Gen: 40mm | GMF: 40mm
Thickness – Gen: 12.2mm | GMF: 12.5mm
Waterproof – Gen: 100m | GMF: 50m
Flaw 1
Point 1: GMF’s bezel color is a few shades darker than the genuine, and shining a blue UV light on the bezel doesn’t change its color. In contrast, the genuine bezel changes color when exposed to a blue UV light.
Point 2: The lugs on the GMF are slightly thicker than those on the genuine “Pepsi.”
Point 3: The chrome silver on the hands and markers differs between the two watches. The authentic version is much shinier than GMF’s.
Flaw 2
This is a minor flaw, but the triangle on the bezel differs slightly in size. GMF’s triangle is a bit thicker than the genuine one, affecting its positioning.
Flaw 3
The “GMT MASTER II” and “SUPERLATIVE CHRONOMETER OFFICIALLY CERTIFIED” text on the GMF is slightly misaligned compared to the genuine version. Additionally, the crown at the bottom of the dial on the GMF is slightly smaller than the genuine one.
Flaw 4
The rehaut on the GMF is decent, but the alignment is off compared to the genuine version. The images above highlight that the crown on the GMF is not centered with the marker.
Flaw 5
The crown engraving on the GMF is decent, but the Rolex logo is thinner, and the three dots are a bit thicker than on the genuine version.
Flaw 6
The model number engraving on the GMF isn’t as prominent as on the genuine. Let the images above do the talking.
Flaw 7
GMF’s inner clasp engraving is decent, but it isn’t as prominent as on the genuine, and the text engraving font is a bit thicker too.
Conclusion
GMF’s Rolex GMT-Master II 126710BLRO 40mm “Pepsi” version 6 is considered one of the top-tier replica watches on the market, and my only concern would be the rehaut. It would be a bonus if they fixed the blue UV light flaw. The watch quality is great, and the pricing is much more reasonable compared to other top-tier replica watches. I love the Pepsi-colored bezel; it gives off a casual vibe. As always, stay vibey.
